This page is dedicated to the possible activities that the High Adventure group is considering. The sky is the limit for the high adventure group, so don't see what you are looking for? Then come to the planning meetings and help us put together that great trip you are dreaming up. We can't do it without you.

Summer is the best time to do a high adventure trip because we don't have to limit the trip to just a few days. With that in mind, here are some of the adventures that are possible. These trips are all envisioned to be on the order of a couple of weeks in length (except possibly the Seabase trip).

Which ones we do, is up to you, the scouts. They are all great, but we need your involvement to make them happen. And don't think these are the only possibilities, but hopefully these will get you thinking about what adventure we want to have.

California (Yosemite, Sequia, and King's Canyon)

Washington State (Mt Rainier, North Cascades, Mt St Helens and Olympia)

Utah (Bryce, Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Grand Canyon(Az))

Wyoming (Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Wind River)

Philmont Scout Ranch, New Mexico

Seabase Scout Reservation, Florida Keys

Not ready to go out on a 2 week adventure to some far flung corner of the US or beyond? Well then, perhaps a week long adventure is more to your liking. Aside from being much less of a time comittment, these trips are also significantly cheaper since they don't involve airfare.

Trips to BSA scout reservations:

Sabattis High Adventure Camp (NY)

Summit High Adventure Camp (West Va)
